Sometime in January this year, there was this report in the Compass Newspapers, detailing how the Ondo state government is to build and commission THE DOME.
It is really not necessary to begin on the question of whether this was a sensible use of money, then or now.
The report had the following visualisation to boot.

The [Dome]project, located on a large expanse of about 34 hectares of land, is being handled by Messrs Dream Media Network Limited and
Governor Mimiko explains at the time:
...the construction of the centre, which would cost the government a sum of N1.5 billion, would encompass 2,500 capacity hall and other complementary facilities to make it competes with any of such centre in the world.
Now that June is here, this structure should be nearing completion. Has anyone seen it ? Have you seen it ?
And when is the commissioning - as is the usual rite - taking place ?
